Bill C Cordle

Bill C. Cordle, 93, of Chillicothe passed from this life Thursday, January 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 17, 1930 in Boyd County, Kentucky to the late Cecil A. and Mary Alice (Wells) Cordle. On September 8, 1963 he married the former Connie D. Plummer who survives, and together they shared over 60 years.

Also surviving are daughter; Stephanie (Tony) Kauffman, PA, Diane Strausbaugh, Nesta Karshner, and Vesta Detillian, all of Chillicothe; a son, Jerry Kight, Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Tom (Linda) Cordle, Curtis, OH. All together totaling five generations. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son in law, Jamie Detillian; a granddaughter, Brandy Horsley, sisters; Ruth Deer, Helen Smith, Lillian Kirk and Virginia Salyers; brothers, Henry, Albert, Raymond, Calvin, Jess and John Cordle.

Bill retired from CCI after 30 years as a Dairy Supervisor. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Ross County Conservation League and was a member of Eagles Aries #600 for many years.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m.  on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the FAWCETT OLVIER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Military rights by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard at 2:00 p.m. Burial with be in Bethel Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contribution may be made to the family.
