Betty M. Hamblin

Betty M. Hamblin, 84, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, Sept. 6, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 14, 1922 in Ross County, the daughter of Edward and Nellie Rinehart. On Nov. 18, 1938 she married Ethan A. Hamblin and together they shared 68 years together. Surviving is a daughter, Sonja L. Seagraves, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Rhonda Schuler, Todd Rundels, Jamie Stephenson and Heidi Fields, 7 great-grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Kate Rinehart, Chillicothe. Her parents, sons, Neal R. and Wayne A. Hamblin and sisters, Helen Stanton, Mabel Hamm and Thelma Kidnocker preceded her in death. Mrs. Hamblin was a managing cosmetologist and a devoted homemaker. She was a member of the Hilltop Mission Church. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 in Twin Township Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Satterfield officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
