Bettie A. Falls

Bettie A. Falls, 81, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday evening, June 19, 2014 in Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness.  She was born December 17, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph and Avis (Pouder) Dunica.  On April 3, 1953 she married Gilbert E. Falls who preceded her in death on June 26, 1998.

Surviving is her nephew, Ralph D. (Marilyn) Hempfling, Chillicothe and several nieces, great-nieces and a nephew.  Her parents, her son and a sister, Marjorie Distelhorst preceded her in death.

Mrs. Falls was a Deputy Clerk with the Chillicothe Municipal Court, retiring in 1998.  She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

Following cremation, graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Londonderry Cemetery.  Calling hours will not be observed.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 268 W. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
