Bessie B. (Flake) Wright

Bessie B. Wright, 99 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  She was born October 8, 1919 in Grayson, KY, the daughter of Joseph D. and Carrie (Pence) Flake.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jennings Wright on October 18, 1995.

Surviving are her daughter, Ruth Sheets; her son, James Douglas Wright. Both of Chillicothe; 8 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, J. Edward Wright, 7 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mrs. Wright had been an employee of the Holiday Inn, Chillicothe.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens under the direction of the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME.  There will be no public calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
