Barbara Ann Wardell

Barbara Ann Wardell, 83 of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday evening, October 19, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born December 25, 1939 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Franklin and Cora (Stubbs) Doyle.

Surviving is a daughter, Jo-Ellen Morgan, Piketon; grandchildren, Aaron (Andrea) Morgan, Amanda (Toby) Salyer, Jamie (Brandy) Hafner, Amber Hafner, Michah Morgan and Jonathon Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Steven, Oscar, Vivian, Connor, Gavin and Gunner.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Rhonda Wardell and Robin Hafner and a son, Richard Wardell.

Barbara was retired employee of Mead Paper.  She was an avid reader and birdwatcher and will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:15pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday.
