B. Everett Taylor

B. Everett Taylor, 71, of Chillicothe, passed from this life into the arms of his Heavenly father early Friday morning, June 6, 2008 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 15, 1936 in Ross County, the son of Thomas A. and Fannie (Rooker) Taylor. On July 28, 1957 he married Ann Moore who survives. Also surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Gary Hoffman and Pam and Tim Uhrig, all of Chillicothe, Becky and Steve Kleman, Ashville, OH, a son, Everett Taylor, Jr., Chillicothe, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Elisabeth Taylor, Blacklick, OH, grandchildren, Stephanie Johnson, Andrew and Zachary Uhrig, Shannon Taylor, Nicholas Kleman and Danielle and Alexandra Beim, sisters, Velma Cyrus and Ruth Brown and a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Katie Taylor. His parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Taylor was a 1955 graduate of Huntington High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired as Regional Manager and Business Representative for the South Central District Council of Carpenters in 1998 and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with military rites by the AMVETS Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday.
