Anne E. Wooldridge, 88, of
Chillicothe
, passed from this life early Wednesday morning,
Mar. 21, 2012
in Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born
Apr. 20, 1923
in
Pineville
,
KY
, the daughter of William and Nora (Hargis) Burns.
On
Jan. 15, 1944
she married Carl M. Wooldridge who preceded her in death
July 26, 1990
.
Surviving are her sons, Dennis E. Wooldridge,
Chillicothe
and Paul D. (Linda) Wooldridge, Circleville; grandchildren, Brooke (Mike) Adams, Jeremy (Allyson) Wooldridge and Megan Wooldridge and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Caleb Adams and Austin and Charlotte Wooldridge.
She was the last of a family of 8 children and was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Vicki Wooldridge and her sisters and brothers.
Mrs. Wooldridge was a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed baseball, especially the Cincinnati Reds.
Private graveside services will be held at the discretion of the family.
