Anna M. Detty

Anna M. Detty, 82, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2008 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 20, 1925 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Harry and Josephine (Gatten) Ingham. On Sept. 15, 1949 she married Owen S. Detty who preceded her in death in 2001. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Charles Hafner, a son, Steven Detty, all of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Amber (David) Kincaid and Chad (Angela) Hafner, step-grandchildren, Shannon (Amanda) Walls and Jarod (Lindsey) Walls, great grandchildren, Ryan Kincaid and Michael and Matthew Hafner, sisters, Eloise (Delano) Graves, Ray, OH, Bernice Anderson and Lola Russell, both of Chillicothe and Mary Baxter, Londonderry, OH, brothers, Larry (Linda) Ingham, Richard Ingham and Carroll (Madeline) Ingham, all of Chillicothe. His parents and brothers, Harry and Russell Ingham preceded her in death. Mrs. Detty had been employed by Chilpaco. She was a member of the First Church of God and the Woman of the First Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 16, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God Building Fund.
