Anna Mae Coyer, 95, formerly of Cambridge, Ohio, died on Monday, February 6, 2012, at Traditions in Chillicothe, Ohio, surrounded by loving family members. Anna Mae was born in Londonderry, Guernsey County, Ohio, on March 19, 1916, to the late Fred and Margaret Stage McCave. Anne Mae married Rollin Bonell Coyer on August 6, 1935, in Cambridge, Ohio, and had two children. She worked as a clerk in the Guernsey County Recorder's Office, and was a long time member of First Christian Church in Cambridge, Ohio, before moving to Chillicothe in 1983 to be closer to family. At the time of her death, she was a member of First Christian Church in Chillicothe, Ohio. Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband Rollin, who was killed in 1944 during active military duty in World War II and is buried at Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial in France. Anne Mae is survived by her daughter, Marcia Pierce, of Chillicothe, Ohio, and her son, Robert (Carolyn) Coyer of Clarksburg, Ohio. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lori (Andy) Hasselbring of Houston, Texas; Lisa Hunt, Lynda Hamlin, Ryan Coyer, and Dean McGarvey of Chillicothe, Ohio; and Christine McGarvey of Frankfort, Ohio. Anne Mae will be greatly missed by great-grandchildren, Scott Cotterman, Lauren (Joshua) Johnson, Jeffrey and Joshua Peoples, Samuel and Callie Hasselbring, Mitchell Hunt, Emily Hamlin, and Wendy (Jon) Benson, and several great-great grandchildren. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Anna Mae Coyer will be held on Friday, February 17, at 1:30 pm at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Chillicothe. A private burial will be conducted on February 10, 2012 at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge, Ohio, by Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home of Chillicothe. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 268 West Water Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
