Alice Coonrod

Alice Burnett Coonrod, 77, of Kingston, formerly of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday evening, Aug. 13, 2007 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born Jan. 17, 1930 in Chillicothe, the daughter of William and Rosa (Hurley) Annon. On Aug. 20, 1949 she married Alfred O. Coonrod who survives. Also surviving is a daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Carl Cardinale, Columbus, Pamela and Mike Bayes, Kingston, a daughter, Lisa Hamler, Chillicothe, a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Nancy Coonrod, Chillicothe, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a brother, Richard Annon, Tarlton, and brothers-in-law, Don Snyder and John Cottrill, both of Chillicothe. Her parents, sisters Emma Allen, Zelma Snyder, Cora Willet, Esther Sowers and Loretta Cottrill and brothers Howard, Leonard, Wilber and Sylvester Annon preceded her in death. Mrs. Coonrod was a member of Brookside Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funereal services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8pm on Wednesday (today). Memorial contributions may be made to Brookside Church.
