Alfred "Steve" Fowler

Alfred "Steve" Fowler, 63, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life Thursday morning, Feb. 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born Oct. 7, 1946 in Chillicothe, the son of Albert and Lillis (Morris) Fowler. Surviving is his mother, Lillis Fowler, Chillicothe, a daughter, Tracy Barnhart, Kingston, a son, Jason Fowler, Kingston, granddaughters, Natori Fowler and Hallie Barnhart, sisters, Roberta Raymond, Chillicothe, Carol Smith, Trussville, AL, Sheila Thompson, Chillicothe and Annette Vance, Hillsboro, a brother, Jack Fowler, Circleville and many nieces and nephews. His father and a sister, Brenda Fowler preceded him in death. Steve was a U.S. Army veteran and was an employee of Ashland, Inc. in Dublin, OH, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed playing cards with his family and working in his yard. He was an avid grass mower. Following cremation, graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, Mar. 5, 2010 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.
