Agnes L. Thacker, 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life, 12:12 PM, Saturday November 15, 2008 in the Heartland of Chillicothe Nursing Home following an extended illness. Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Charles Case officiating. The Fawcett Oliver Glass & Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family She was born, Feb. 8, 1917 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Grover C. Stout and the late Celora Williams Stout. On June 1, 1947 she married Earl Thacker who preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1981. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law Harold and Virginia Stout of Chillicothe; two step-sons, Jon (Rose) Thacker and Earl Ray(Beverly) Thacker, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Two sisters Bernice Stout and Ruth Barney and two brothers George Stout and Howard Stout preceded her in death. Mrs. Thacker was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was retired from the Columbus State Hospital where she was employed as a ward nurse.
