Russell Story Hartley, Sr.

Russell Story Hartley, Sr., 61 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Adena Pike County Hospital, Waverly following an extended illness.  He was born Sept. 17, 1956 in Chillicothe, the son of Robert Daniel and Margie Katherine (Alexander) Hartley.

Surviving are his former spouses, Charlotte Ball and Beth Cottrill, both of Chillicothe;  daughters, Treiva (Joshua) Baskerville and Elizabeth Hartley, all of Chillicothe; sons, Steven (Jackie) Hartley and Robert (Jessica) Hartley, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Heidi, Sara, August, Steven, Lani-Jo, Elyjah, Zayla, Paxon and Kason; a sister, Luanna (Steve) Smith, Chillicothe; brothers, Dave (Nancy) Fulton, Akron, OH, Thomas Hartley, Chillicothe and Mike (Raylean) Hartley, Xenia, OH; a special friend, Herb Rainer, Chillicothe and a host of nieces and nephews.  His parents and a son, Russell Story Hartley, Jr. preceded him in death.

Mr. Hartley was a retired plumber.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of Plumbers Local 189 and the Tin Can Sailors Association.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services.  The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 2017.
