Rosemary, I did not know your sister but after reading many condolences to the family I now know she was a wonderful lady who loved the Lord. May you find comfort in your faith and knowing others do care.

To the Family, Relatives, and Friends of Marilyn, I want to take this time to let you know that God is wise in all of His dealings and kind in all of His ways. I will always remember Marilyn as my very optimistic friend full of faith. Her presence on this earth will be missed by many, but especially by those who knew and loved her best. To the children, I say, carry your mother's hopes, dreams, and visions in your hearts and she will continue to live on through you. Circumstances did not allow me to attend the Homegoing and I am so sorry. May God bless and keep you is my prayer.

To Mr Scott and the rest of the family.
My heart goes out to each of you with the passing of Mrs Marilyn .
I was honored to work with her for 2 years @ Carver Community Center . she was a Phenominal. Woman of God good wife to Mr Scott and Mother to Myra and her Brothers and grandmother to her grandchildren.
She was very stern and firm with all the children she worked with yet even if they were in time out she made a poi t to let them know although she didn't approve of the behavior Mrs Marilyn still loved them . I seen with my own eyes where kids loved her so much that they would cry if they didn't get to give Mrs Marilyn their hugs bye . my kids would want me to drive out of the way just so they could tell her hello at the cross walks where she crossed kids daily .
She refused to waver from her faith and God listened to her prayers she made no beef telling how Good her God was weather work church or on the street and she did it with a smile that glowed.
I learned so much from her watching the example she gave . She loved God her Husband Kids and Grandkids and friend in that order and made no beef to let you know and she would defend God her family and friends with her last breath. .
She was thankful for the simplest of blessings . she was a great woman.
My prayers for all of the family because we know God gained a great woman.

I remember Marilyn as being such a kind and giving soul to everyone that she came across at the VA which is where I saw her the most. She purely was an asset to the VA mission. I also know that she raised some wonderful caring children who make this world a better place to live. Her legacy is boundless, and she will be missed. I pray for comfort and peace for her family and lived ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have many great memories of Marilyn. First being she went to the prom with my brother "Paul" and then when we moved out of state she brought me a rose so I could start a bush in my yard when we got there. She was always so sweet with Delone and kind to Kelly and Aaron. And the first time I had ever heard of salmon loaf...she had made it. Marilyn was just Marilyn......she will be missed by many. Prayers for you all. She would tell you to dry your eyes....I am not in pain anymore.
