Helen F. Plummer, 96, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday evening, Feb. 27, 2017 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.  She was born Dec. 9, 1920 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Charles and Ida Belle (Frances) Tomlinson.  She was married Aug. 19, 1937 to Orville C. Plummer and together they shared 66 years together.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 2003.

Surviving are daughters, Connie (Bill) Cordle and Lena Ross, all of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Norma Jean Purdue, 2 sons-in-law, a grandchild, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Mrs. Plummer was dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of the Ross Co. Conservation League Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bruce Viar officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Lawn Cemetery, Williamsport.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday.
