Walter Lloyd Peecher, 86 of Chillicothe, OH passed from this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Vineyards of Concord Nursing Facility, after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 16, 1929 to the late Walter E. (Bud) & Opal Peecher. He married Emma K. Smith on August 31, 1952, who predeceased him in death on February 7, 2010. He is survived by his three children, daughters Cathy (Joe) VanDyke, Cedar Hill, TN; Cynthia (Bobby) Peecher, Springfield, VA; & stepson Ronald (Deena) Peecher, Chillicothe, OH. 7 Grandchildren, Randa (John) Freeborn, & Jennifer (Coty) Skaggs, Newport, VA; Andrew (Julie) Newsome, Chillicothe, OH; Michael (Marissa) VanDyke, Cedar Hill, TN; Becky (Chris) Fyffe, Chillicothe, OH; Kara (Mark) Mariotti, Fairlawn, VA; Mark (Tara) Peecher, Frankfort, OH. 15 great grandchildren; Brother Gale (Mary) Peecher; Sisters Ruthie (Roger) Swaney & Jackie (Richard) Angus. He is also predeceased by his sister Pat (Ralph) Falco & stepmother Theresa Peecher.

Lloyd was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War, an Eagle Scout Master, member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and a member of the Emmaus community. He officiated high school football and basketball.  He loved all types of music, the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
