Thelma Darlene Barnhart, 73, of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life on Saturday evening, Aug. 5, 2017 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born Oct. 30, 1943 in Vigo, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Carrie (Byers) Myers.  On May 19, 1971 she married Larry E. Barnhart who survives.

Also surviving are her daughter, Loretta L. Barnhart, Chillicothe; her sisters, Charlotte (Ralph) Frye, Jackson, Karen (Mike) Barnhart, Londonderry, Luann Schultz, Georgia and her brother, Ralph (Jeannie Butler) Myers, Chillicothe.  Her parents, a sister and 2 brothers preceded her in death.

Darlene was a retired cook.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 in Londonderry Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is honored to serve the Barnhart family.
