Roy Rigsby, 86 of Stoutsville passed from this life on Sunday evening, Oct. 16, 2016 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.  He was born Oct. 22, 1929 in McGoffin County, KY, the son of John Brack and Myrtle (Caudill) Rigsby.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Greta Mae (Fultz) Rigsby.

Also surviving is his son, Mitchell (Barbra) Rigsby, Stoutsville; his granddaughter, Tiffany (Justin) Pickett; his great-granddaughters, Michelle and Audrey Pickett; his sisters, Mary Justice, Peebles, OH, Marthie Bliss, MI, Margaret Smith, Columbus, OH and Sue Coston, TX; and his brothers, Joe Rigsby, Columbus, OH, and twin brothers,  Therman Rigsby, Waverly, OH and Herman Rigsby, Columbus, OH.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Mr. Rigsby was a retired employee of Architectural Precast.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War and attended Mary Chapel Church, Waverly, OH.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME,   77 East 5th St., Chillicothe, OH with Elder Therman Rigsby officiating.  Burial will follow in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery with military honors by AMVETS Post 2265 Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday.
