Roberta Lynn Bullard, 73, of Chillicothe,  passed from this life on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Chillicothe following an extended illness.  She was born April 1, 1944 in Streator, IL, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Ingram) Hilliard.  She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David Edwin Bullard.

Also surviving are her daughters, Elizabeth (Brian) Bennett, Ocean Springs, MS and Melanie (Eric) Andrews, Monmouth Beach, NJ; grandchildren, Anthony Tyler Bennett, Emily  Ann Bennett, Luke Andrews and Lila Elizabeth Andrews; and sisters, Mary Beth (Larry) Wampler, LeRoy, IL and Rose (Jim) Harcar, Streator, IL.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Bullard was a graduate of St. Johns School of Nursing, Springfield, IL and was a practicing Registered Nurse for more than 30 years.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading and working puzzles.  Roberta was a devoted and loving mother.  She was very proud of her family and was excited to become “Grandma Bobbi” to her 4 grandchildren.   Roberta loved Christmas and family vacations.  She traveled frequently for any chance to spend cherished time with her children and grandchildren. 

Roberta never met a stranger and was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family services will be held in Illinois at a time to be announced.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME.  Memorial contributions in Roberta’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org.
