Paul Vernon Clipner, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday evening, Aug. 17, 2011 surrounded by his family and neighbors, Terry and Vicki Aldenderfer. He was born Aug. 14, 1946 in Vinton County, the son of the late Eugene V. and Bessie (Fouty) Clipner. On Jan. 17, 1970 he married Mary Kay Hampshire, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Jaclyn Anne and Bryan D. Frea, Westerville, OH. Mr. Clipner was an employee of Mead Paper with 44 years of service, retiring in 2008. He was a member of Scioto Lodge #6, F&AM and the NRA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with David J. Frea and Terry Aldenderfer officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday (today) with a Masonic Service by Scioto Lodge #6, F&AM at 7:00 pm. The family wishes to extend their love and appreciation to Dr. Rick Myhand and all of the oncology physicians and staff, Dr. Stephen Johnson, Rhonda Elliott and all of the Palliative Care staff and the Adena Hospice for all of the outstanding care and support during this difficult time.
