Marjorie M Seymoure, 78, slipped into God's loving arms 6:20 pm Thursday 3/23/17 following a long battle with multiple medical issues.  Marjorie was born Feb. 20 1939 to the late Floyd and Bessie (Hertenstein) Cox.  On Sept 27th 1958 she married the late Russsell M Seymoure Sr.

Marjorie is survived by her 5 daughters Bess Vickers (Bill Lorenzo), Sheila (Tim) Sayre, Deb (Dan) Cook, all of Chillicothe, Mary (Craig) Stevens, Londonderry, Sherry (Dave) Conley, Piketon, and a special adopted daughter, Tami Maple, Waverly;  grandchildren, Tonya (Chris) Clendaniel, Chillicothe,  David (Brittney) Conley, Piketon,  Daniel (Deanna) Cook, Chillicothe, Stacey (Eric) Patterson,  Londonderry, Brandy (Rob) Deering,  Piketon,  Amanda Slnnock Chillicothe;  great- grandchildren,  Christian, Caden and Matilda Clendaniel, Morgan, Ryan and Yanira Arenas,  Evan and Jacob Patterson, Kyton and Cora Conley, Camden Deering and new baby (boy) Deering due in June, Blake Slnnock;  a sister, Eb Stewart, Chillicothe and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Russell M Seymoure Jr.; a daughter, Samantha A Seymour;,  brothers,  Floyd, Lloyd, Bill, Gene, Pete, Jim, Roger, Richard and Paul;  sisters, Annie Woods and Pearl Harrington.  Marjorie's roommate and close friend, Lucy Patterson passed from this life just hours after Marjorie. These two beautiful ladies not only shared a room, they shared the same birthday week, 2 great grandsons, and a bond for looking out for each other.

Marjorie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her entire life was devoted to taking care of her family.  The strength she displayed over the years has taught each of her daughters to be strong loving, caring women.  These same qualities are why her girls were by her side every day to the bitter end, insisting she get only the best of care because this is what Momma DESERVED!

Marjorie will be greatly missed by her family and all her friends at Signature Health Care, and two very special friend's Evlynn Brewer and Joanne Cochenour.

The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME on Monday, March 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm where funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 28th at 12:00 pm with Pastor Dave Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the Londonderry Friends Cemetery

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their tender loving care during the last week of their Mother's life.  Thank you to the nurses and PCA's at Signature Health Care for their service, and a big thank you to all the family and friends for their prayers love and support through this difficult time.  A special thanks to the staff of Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer for serving the family in their mother's celebration of life.
