Jean Alice Stanley, 79, of Columbus, formerly of Chillicothe passed from this life on Friday, Mar. 17, 2017 in Riverside Hospital, Columbus.  She was born Jan. 15, 1938 in Chillicothe, the daughter of James R. and Eunice J. (Vandermark) Stanley.

Surviving are her daughters, Hope, Charity and Candy Stanley, all of Columbus; her sons, David Stanley, Shannon (Shandel) Stanley and Shawn Stanley, all of Columbus; 22 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Talbert, Columbus and her brothers, Melvin (Donna) Vandermark and Arthur Vandermark, all of Columbus.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Harold Brown, sons, Harold and Russell Stanley, 2 grandchildren, a sister, Ada Stanley and a brother, James Stanley.

Mrs. Stanley was a retired dietary worker at Park Medical Center, Columbus.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, Mar. 25, 2017 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Barbara Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
