Dear family and friends, our beloved Corey's struggle is over, but his love lives on through his "Princes" Alayia! Please reach out to her so she can share with you their love-story. We are grateful for the times he shielded her with silence and absence, we know that came with a great cost, but greater still were their times shared...Birthdays, holidays,school events, cheer-leading and their favorite...."Donuts with Dad" and so much more.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Corey. Corey was always respectful when he was around...I thank him for that and I also want take this time to you (Corey) for the best gift that I ever received....my granddaughter....Alayia!!!

I am sad to lose my daddy I'm thankful for all of our special times and they are very good and happy memories but now I feel so bad. I will always love you daddy I'm so grateful that we had one last kiss and hug on Wednesday I know that was from god. My heart is broken but I will always look up to my daddy and he will always make me smile and forever will be my guardian angel I will miss you daddy.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through right now. The Bible describes death as "the last enemy." (1 Cor. 15:26) It breaks into our lives and robs us of those we love. But God gives us hope, for he promises to reunite us with those we've lost on a beautiful paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more and where everyone will be at peace, with themselves and with one another. (Isaiah 26:19, Revelation 21:4) May these promises help you to cope with the days ahead.
